Reverendalexg (Jun 10 2008): This is DOPE. No disrespect to Rocky, but I miss Bigham and Kendall's tone in a big way. For those who attended the show, how did it sound? Anybody think there's a chance he'll pop up more often?

Kendall’s appearance sparked past memories of classic fishbone and was extremely inspiring for those of us who knew who he was. I enjoyed the classy raw sound of traditional favorites he was able to inject into this new Fishbone machine. I must say he had a little rust on his scales but who wouldn’t after so many years. For the rest of the audience, I would say Rocky leaving for the remainder of the night was a disappointment. I would have liked to see the both of them play together however Kendall was using George’s amp and guitar so that may have been a problem. Overall, the sound at Shattuck is rockin and I recommend anyone in the area to check them out the next time they play there. Peas Out ‘:<
