it has sadly been almost a decade since i saw the boys and i must admit i had fallen out of the loop with the goings on involving the band but friday they came out and demonstrated why they are the greatest live band ever i will give a few high points (although the whole show was an enormous orgasmic high point) first was angelos disappearing act from the stage at the very beginning(thank god you ...
although the geniuses who were working the venue itself were napping for the first part eventually extracted their heads and made the sound enjoyable for everyone an odd place to have a big thing like that but it all worked out in the end for a glorious night i believe this was the Q101 octoberfest concert thangs
although we came to see fishbone an check out stp i found it disheartening to see maybe 30 possibly 50 people there to see the boys and they did not disappoint it was a great time and most of the 40 or so people there left after fishbone finished their set and by the way the chilis were lame they should have been the ones opening up this show
worked that show it was a glorious two day run thank you for doing what y'all do best
the great thang about working at the world that summer was seeing fishbone for free....TWICE!!!!! it was a great time the boys kicked arse as i seem to recall
