| I've matrixed sdb outputs and audio. The BIG PROBLEM is that Fishbone has no personal soudman for the French tour and the guy behind the desk, that night, had been not put in good conditions ... no sound check ... never heard the band live ... not easy for him !! curious cause the 'Bone were present early in the afternoon (i spoke a little with John Stewart & Rocky ...) and they did not done a sound check ! Do not wait for a correct recording as Lyon-ENTPE i've done in 1989. I've done the best i could to matrix the 2 sources. If you want an Fishbone's awesome live ... buy the cd/dvd live in Bordeaux 2008 It's a must have for a Fishbone fan. you can download a small extract (mp3) from the Lyon show 2009 http://dl.free.fr/bkXuUbsQ1 I will upload the complete show on the tracker here (and on Dime) in few days, until they finish their European Tour ... i'm just waiting the "green fire" from Denis. | Big big problems on the sdb recording ...a lot of clippings ... very annoying ...it does not come from overloaded inputs but from another unindentified reason. I've tried to repare them but it was almost impossible. So the final mix is from time to time degraded Anyway, the Bones show was brilliant as usual with a lot of new songs ... All my apologies ... | ||

This show was originally recorded for Radio-Bellevue (later Zap-FM) Lyon, France.
I've mixed it on my own 16-tracks soundboard from different sources: 1 - from the venue soundboard, i've used sub-groups (drums / voices) 2- taken separately : bass / guitar / snare / bass drum and the brass section 3 - ambiance microphones placed in the middle close to the front desk 4 - ...
