I had see Fishbone two years ealier at the Hard Rock in Veags with Primus and the show , I felt was much better this time around.
This place had a great vibe, maybe because it was outdoors and along a river. Plus it was a beautiful day. Fishbone sounded better then ever. Angelo is an amazing frontman and it showed that day. The sound was a little distored at first and that was soon ...
I.C. Light Amphitheatre (PA) - 03 Jun 1996 [review written 24 Jun 2014] It was in support of Chim Chim. I cant remember alot about it, but I do remember watching the opening band Super 8 and seeing Angelo swinging by his arms from some structure behind the stage while talking to some lady.LOL! Thats about all I can remeber!
Metropol (PA) - 11 Mar 1994 [review written 24 Jun 2014] I dont remeber much, but I do rememebr Bio-Hazard opening up and talking to them and saying"wait until you see these guys!". The place was packed,I do remember Fishbone starting out with Pressure. After that it was a high enegy affair. A mix of races and it all worked out well. I also remebered Angelo crowd surfing from the front to the back and back up again, then climbing on the balcon...
Lollapalooza (PA) - 21 Jul 1993 [review written 24 Jun 2014] One of the last shows with Dowd.
The show was hot and all I can remeber people throwing hunks of grass from the lawn area in the back, which eventually made there way to the stage. Angelo got into it and starting throwing the grass back with that smile on his face! It look like a bunch of flying fish!
