| This was my first time taping and seeing Fishbone. In fact, this was probably my first attempt tape a live show in stealth mode. I was standing on the front stage floor to the left of the PA stacks but not too close. Then all of the sudden Fishbone hits the stage and the music is blarring extremely loud. Much louder then the previous bands. I lowered my levels to help prevent clipping and brickwalling but it was later clear that I was standing way too close to the PA stacks. Better sound and lower HPL's would have been better further back. Lesson learned and later used at the next Jaxx taping in Oct 2003. This was a great show from Fishbone and Kings X. At the end of the night some memebers of Fishbone came out to jam with Kings X. This is probably my most played live recording that I have. Kings X and Fishbone that is. The two Fishbone Jaxx performances in 2003 made me a Fishbone fan. | This was my second time recording Fishbone and the second time recording them at Jaxx. As usual it's always a party at any Fishbone show but I try and find a good place to record where there is good sound yet not too much excitement to get a good recording. My M1 was giving me problems at the time but others still have rated it as a very good recording so I'll go with that. | ||

| I taped this show. Stealth setup sitting in the back to one side of the SBD having one or two beers. Good show but I thought the night before at Jaxx was better. My M1 at the time was giving me problems. Later, I found out my heads weren't aligned properly and this DAT M1 unit had to be replaced. Still, it's been listed as a good recording by others. | ||
