Perfect show! long chats with Walt, Jay and Stef (merchandising) before the show. Nice exterior venue --) no pain in my hears the next day! Great crowd, organizers didn't bother the band about finishing at 10 sharp....
NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW song played (got a hint from Jay but I couldn't believe it nevertheless!) JB your lobbying finally paid :-)

Fishbone in Paris: my 3rd date this tour and a lot of expectations from my side.
First getting to hangout with Johnfou once again was one my personal highlights. We had a bite, and several drinks and then we arrived to the venue which is about 30 minutes by train from central Paris.

Magasin 4 (BE) - 05 May 2011 [review written 11 May 2011] Got to the venue at 6.00 and was greeted by Denis and Christoophe, and we went for a quick bite around the corner, nice way to start the evening.
As soon as we entered, we saw Lionel and Marie, and of course Wet Daddy appeared immediately... so I was able to chat as I missed him in London.
By the time PPZ30 hit the stage for a very nice show, I was able to meet plenty of regular fis...
Underworld (UK) - 27 Apr 2011 [review written 29 Apr 2011] Got to the venue and met Lionel loaded like a donkey as he was on his way to several Fishbone shows in the UK and King's X in Holland. Moe.down Music Festival (NY) - 30 Aug 2008 [review written 31 Aug 2008] Thank god for the Internet! I was able to see this nice concert from my home here in Belgium on my plasma tv.
1h 25, no PaDre and no encore but the guys were excellent as usual. My highlights were Premadawnutt (Impressive Norwood here), Alcoholic (nice new lyrics from Angelo) and the final Party at Ground Zero.
Seeing them on screen is not as good as live but is very interestin...

First the disappointments:
- The stupid Parisian organization which didn't allow cameras in and only let the bands to play until 23.00 as a result I have no pictures/videos to upload here and the guys could only play one hour
- John McKnight didn't play as he was admitted in the hospital the day before for high blood

Attending this show was a real impulsive reaction to the fact that I learned that Fishbone is not the headline for the Paris concert later this month which I will attend as well. I was lucky enough to have a lift from Timot and I really don’t regret my evening.

Le Botanique (BE) - 12 Feb 2007 [review written 13 Feb 2007] Their best show ever (and I saw them 6 times already)! More than 2h40 of concert - total respect! The crowd was a bit shy even after an amazing start up with Sunless Saturdays but after it went better an better with people dancing and pogo on every song. Ancienne Belgique (BE) - 04 Jan 1989 [review written 06 May 2008] Almost 20 years that I saw Fishbone live on stage and some memories are still very present.
First I remember that the US bombed Lybia that morning so when we arrived at the show, the security had been reinforced, I remember the guy in front of me having to open every single zipper in his jacket (he must have had at least 20...) to show he had no weapons.
