Yes sir! Fishbone was playing hard! The energy was high, on stage, but i'll agree with the rest of the soliders that the SS crowd stood confused. Who in the hell??? Shut up bitches and step aside we needs to skank and pit. This was the first show that i'd been to where Angelo didn't jump in the crowd. Can't blame him, most of those people would have stepped out the way. Not having the crowd behind...
Smith's Olde Bar (GA) - 18 May 2004 [review written 16 Nov 2004] Nuttmegalious...
The place was slammin'. Moore and crew brought the old stuff back on stage and put that shitz down. Dre on the keys, Rocky and Torrel, and Pastor Dre filling in on the back like he grew up with the nuttmeg in his soda. I loved this show. With each song my mouth would drop in disbelief, "I can't believe they are playing this song"...it was the ultimate set.
Variety Playhouse (GA) - 12 Nov 2001 [review written 16 Feb 2005] Strange show. Energy was hot from Angelo and Norwood, but lost with the others and the crowd was sparce. Blowfly put down the ABC's of pussy, sex or something...
Angelo was doing a lot of Madvibe material. Purrrumph....optimistic YES.
Masquerade (GA) - 28 Feb 1995 [review written 18 Feb 2005] Fishbone and Weapon of Choice....
This show was nuttfantastic. Yellow asshuggin' Leather, please baby, baby please, wrapped around that dark beautiful skin. Hot, hot, HOT!!! Angelo, Meganutt, the whole nutty nutt crew. This was the cream of the criz'op and i've been waiting to see these two play together again. So much funk!
