The show, of course, was awesome as usual, what little of it there was.
The venue, I'm sorry to have to have say, sucked ass. Bar management booked too many acts, 2nd band were stage hogs and Fishbone to had to end their set half way in. Other than that though, it was great.
Great Show. It's been a few years since I last saw these guys, but man they were sounding good. As Nutter said, show got cut short and you could blame the bar for that or you could blame it on too many openers, or that the first band started nearly 45 minutes late, or that a couple of them were playing over their time when the house told them 15 minutes and they kept playing well past that. My friend has a set list and in looking at it, looks like they planned about 8 more songs they didn't get to. All in all though, nice to see them in a small place where you actually feel like you're part of the show, not just sitting in some seats 10,000 miles away. Not that I don't want them to have those big shows, but you really can't beat these little clubs where it feels more like hanging out at a party than a "show". Needless to say, if you're "thinking" of going to a show, rest assured they still "got it" and you will have a good time.
