Although fishbone was the opening act, they were the reason I was there. The Untouchables were the headlining act and D.C.'s Trouble Funk was in the middle. Of course I knew about The Untouchables but I had never heard of Trouble Funk. Before the show started, I ran into Angelo walking around the venue and as usual with his crazy glass, hat and cane. Angelo stopped to talk. I asked him about Trouble Funk and said that you got to watch them. Angelo also said that their bass player Tony Fisher is a bad ass. The Circle Star Theatre is exactly that, a circle with a rotating stage. Although it is closed now, many major acts performed there in the 60's, 70's and 80's. For the show itself was pretty tame. There was security everywhere. fishbone's set was short and probably the calmest show I have ever seen. I am not sure of the setlist but I am sure they played most of the EP and there standard other songs. UGLY, Shankin' To The Beat, Party At Ground Zero, Mr. Zero, Lyin' Ass Bitch, Zilla Farts, Another Generation. Something like that.
