 Review by Angelboy on May 22 2014 Band were tight as usual but the sound was really top heavy, so much so that the drums were often drowned out. Not the bands fault - they were excellent. I saw Angelo before this gig in the bar and gave him a nod and he gave me one back. Must have thought I was a bit weird! Shame they didn't play an encore - something was up, not sure if Norwood had the hump as Angelo said that if we wanted more w...
I think the lack of an encore was more to do with the venue's strict 11pm curfew. That's what I thought anyway. A lot of watch pointing between sound guys and management. Gutted really as i've ALWAYS wanted to hear The Goose and Another Generation, but oh well.

 Review by Majicmanmaj on May 22 2014 The first time I saw Fishbone was at the Academy supported by ProPain, The Goats and Bad Brains on 14th October 1993 (that gig isn't listed on this site BTW but I still have my ticket stub to prove it!) so I was made up that they were returning to this venue. I was impressed by Clay Pigeon who had a good sound and some pretty decent songs, shame about the lack of people actually watching ...
