Nice festival. The line-up was a bit weak except Fishbone, but the place is nice, if you avoid the techno coming from the camping.
Well it was not the best Fishbone show as you can expect from any show in a festival. They started a bit late, because of problems in effect racks and they had to cut the set at the end. However I should say I was nicely surprised by the sound for a open air event, it was quite good.
Norwood was quite fit and danced a lot on stage. Angelo seemed a bit tired but he dived in the crowd as usual, as did Dre a few times. The crowd was overexited and it was quite crazy in the pit at times. The setlist was short and they played a lot of new songs together with M&P, Freddy, Everyday, Sunless... Wet Daddy was as tight as usual and for once you could hear Rocky, quite pleasing. The overall sound was not as jazzy as in Montana last time I saw them anyway, and not enough theremin also.
A good festival show and it's always nice to see Fishbone :)
Nico.
