Wow. Really, just wow.
All I can say about this lineup, is they are the best I've heard since 1994. The horns were fat and tight, the band is energetic and good to go.
Couple of things.
1. Norwood's bass went out halfway through the bonin' solo. The band jammed over it, but it was a buzzkill, but hey, tech problems happened.
2. The keyboard player, I wasn't digging on his reggae stuff they had him do. I didn't feel it really fit. I can see them trying to use him as a hype man, it just didn't do it for me.
3. Mix was godawful. Couldn't hear the keys in the least. The horns tended to overpower things on "big" songs.
Best song of the night, Everyday Sunshine.
