seen the show at st Pete as usual fishbone was hot but the set list didn't touch many old school numbers and noorwood didn't seem his usual happy self? rocky george's amp cut out several times, but none the less the show still smoked! as far as the new music awsome! awsome! awsome! GET THE NEW CD!
I first saw Fishbone during in the late eighties. i saw them several times after that.
First off these gusy are a great band. As powerful as Pfunk even without Kendall, Chris and Fish. The new members are very talented.
they are extemely professional. The crowd at state theatre wasn't very big. They still played a full and energetic show. They didn't pout or disrespect the audience which I've seen before from other bands. Its a disgrace that a band of this caliber isn't playing larger venues to packed houses.
I had a great time and I hope that this tour helps to recoup some of their fan base.
I don't want to be a hater but it kills me that inferior bands like No Doubt and the Red Hot chili Peppers have had so much success while Fishbone has been so underappreciated.
The guys in Fishbone are a class act. They were very kind to the audience.
To the older fans, go see them because they still RAWK. To younger fans, get out and see a level of musicianship that is becoming increasingly rarer these days.
