Un concert fantastique, fishbone est un groupe doté d'une générositée rare de nos jours envers le public. Un concert censé terminer à 00h45, achevé à presque 2 heures du matin, j'était tout à l'avant, et l'ambiance était électrique! Au cas ou des membres du groupes passent par là, j'ai rencontré le chanteur à la fin du concert avec une jeune fille, qu'il a visiblement apreciée!!Wil...

Tout simplement ENORME !!!

C'est la deuxième fois que je vois le groupe en concert et c'était le pied !!! Non seulement le concert a duré 2h, mais ils ont en plus fait un rappel !!!

C'est vrai que devant l'ambiance était chaude, je sais plus combien de fois Angelo et John sont partis en slam !!! Une enerige hors du commun !!!

Well, sometimes it seems that Fishbone is really the most incredible live machine in the world! Sometimes it's like Angelo is establishing a connection with the crowd and is keeping the connection all the entire show. Sometimes, ever single note and every single move of the boyz are just a the right moment ... The show for the Hivernautes festival was like that. It was our 10th fishbone live show and it get direcly in our top 3 (after Ubu 21th of october 2002 and Olympicf March 2005).

We came with a new comer to the world of fishbone. One new fishbone soldier!

We arrived two songs before the end of the first band: Shaka Ponk (www.myspace.com/shakaponk) , french fusion band who live in Berlin, with many electronic sound on voice.. i appreciate their album but it seems a little bit difficult to recreate the power of it on stage.... perhaps because people were waiting for fishbone, don't know...

Were hungry so we found some sandwiches and Fishbone Soldier Fanch who is at his 14 or 15 Fishbone show ! I've recognised in the pit another Soldier from the west part of france: Washaki (i think).

After Shaka Ponk we got "10 rue de la madeleine" (http://www.myspace.com/10rue) a fusion band with sound and rythm like RATM but with 2 folk instrument (Cello and Clarinette) with sounds like "Goran Bregovic"... so it's interesting but the crowd was not ready for them... difficult to open for fishbone...

Boyz must arrived late in quimper so John do his sound check just before the show.

Light on stage were a little bit poor...

Man the band was so good! Wood was very happy, laughing, jumping, chatting with other, playing with his Warwick like a devil!!! ... i think it's the first time i've seen him like that! ... Dre was good as usually, this man don't replace Walt, he just do some different things and it's very good! He jumped many time in the crowd. Curtis and John were a little bit in the dark light so i really can judge them but they were "irreprochable"... same thing for John, i don't see him... In fact usually during a Fishbone show, while i'm dancing, my eyes are going from a musician to another.But this time, Angelo was so incredible, so tight, so inside the music and the song, that i only see him... I've sung like a mad man in Angelo's mic for "Give it up", the devil made me do it, i'm sure now !! ;-)) i think the song "behind closed doors" is now one of my favourites ...

After the show we discussed with a group of friend of us, all new comer to fishbone live : they were all on their knees, saying they never seen something like that... Especially impressed by Norwood Bass Playing style and abilities.... hehehehe!!!! Good to hear that!! Fishbone still red hot and even more than ever !!!

As it was a Festival, the band was planned to play 1Hour and 15 minutes , but they finally reached 2 Hours... yes!
