I had never seen fishbone before and man was i in for it. Killer show and that is how it was. I will go back to see every show near my hometown as long as i live.
This was my first fishbone show ever. I have been a fan since back in the day since a few of my friend's older brothers would listen to the Bone. I didn't purchase my own Fishbone till middle of last year. I picked up "The Essential Fishbone", thought it would be appropriate seeing as this compliation covered a good bit of there career. Haven't stopped listening to it yet. It really opened my eyes to what the Bone was about. Since then I went out and bought "Reality of my Surroundings Past to present DVD" & "Live at the temple bar & more at the HOB show. I hate to compare, but the boys are right up there with Primus being one of the most inspireing & original bands in my book. Now for the show, ANGELO WASN'T THERE!!! Kind of a bummer for my first Fishbone show but oh well. They came out did some improve stuff, a Marley song with the guys from Slightly Stoopid, & 1 Fishbone song (Ma & Pa). It was really short, Norwood did a good job of trying to get the crowd going "left hand in your underwear". The crowd was mostly SS fans but I saw a few soldiers around the venue. FISHBONE SHOULD BE HEADLINING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From one musician to another or whoever reads this crap. The bone is true music made up of REAL musicians and you don't find that much theses days. So keep on Bonin'. Peace & Chicken Grease -D Muggles (sorry for the spelling errors)
