Reviews
This is the review I posted on The Nuttwork Neighbourhood the day after the show, so it is a bit rambly!!!
Here are my ramblings.... Terrible journey to London meant that we arrived to see Adequate 7 play the end of their last song...oh well!!! Skindred were okay, but a bit samey after a while, I felt. However, Angelo was wandering around chatting during their set, so I had a brief chat with him (he resplendent in Knee-length trousers with braces, striped blazer and boater!) I had a long chat, though with Norwood, Sarah and Ase (and bored them with my photo of Rohan!!!) What lovely people they are and what a cute child he is!!! Norwood said that they had enjoyed the tour and would DEFINITELY be back in these parts next year, so let's keep fingers crossed!!! Then the set started... as my mate Mark said, it was strange that Angelo was so mild-mannered when chatting, but turned into a whirling dervish on stage!!! A few highlights. Obviously, the opening couplet of Everyday and Ma 'n' Pa. A seriously heavy version of Sunless with much crowd-surfing, even from Angelo. Junkie's Prayer with Spacey playing the Star-Spangled Banner (very Hendrix!!!) Angelo singing the start of Alcoholic from behind the bar!!! Norwood giving his Mic to Ase to sing backing vocals on Red Hot!!! Lots of other things, but I must go and teach History now, which is a shame!!!! Thanks to the band for coming here and putting on a great show.
Love and Satisfaction!!!
