This was the first time Fishbone ever played Halifax, and my first time seeing them. The turnout was awesome (sold-out) and both the band and the crowd really seemed to be into it. I had a bit of worry that there'd be little energy because it was the day the media announced Layne Staley's death, but I was dead-wrong. Angelo crowd surfed a couple of times. He wasn't too heavy. They played for two hours (12:30-2:30) and nobody seemed to be getting tired of it. I had no idea Halifax had this many Fishbone fans, but they should definitely play here again.
Before the show I told Norwood that I modeled my goatee after his, and he thought it was pretty funny.
Here's the setlist. The songs are correct but the order may be a little off in the middle.
