I had a great time at the show in DC. I finally met MadPunk and saw High C again. I didn't meet up with Dimeka or anyone else from the list.

I think I've missed something here. Is Skankin go nuttz the same as or similar to Skankin' to the Beat? After starting off with two of Dirty Walt's tunes, the band went into Skankin. I went crazy! I LOVE that song!

Anyway, here's the set list from what I can remember. I bought Dirty Walt's cd at the show, but don't have it with me and I can't remember the first song.

We had THREE opening bands A.K.P., Grilled & Trouble Funk. A.K.P. was okay, a little comical, but I liked the beats. The bone came on around midnight (I think) and finished up around 1:45 - 1:50. I would've been happier with just Trouble Funk and the Bone, but hey, they don't let me book the shows. The show was FABULOUS. I wish I had a video of it for my own enjoyment. That's one I'd like to relive over and over just for its uniqueness, especially with Trouble Funk there. Steward was tight on the drums! Someone mentioned in other posts that people don't necessarily notice the drummer. I'm usually always focused on the drummer. Anyone with that much coordination and steady rhythm (two things I do not possess) amaze me. Angelo's voice sounded so smooth and soulful. It seemed, though, like they needed another voice in the harmony between Angelo's and Walt's. It felt like there was a hole there in the vocals. A part of what makes the shows for me is the way Angelo moves. Even in my youth I couldn't move like that. Oh yeah, there was a 2nd guitarist up there and I can't remember his name. I'd like to say I'll always remember this show, but my memory sucks which is why I love video tapes.
