Damn what a show...

to all my brothers and sisters who were present, I hope ya'll got home safe. I'm glad I got to meet some of you, too bad I couldn't find Leland. It was like a huge reunion of people I've met all over this city. The vibe was positive, the players so on top of there game... oh so sweet. Even seeing spit flying throught the air was magical, and when...

Damn is right!!! Last night was the 6th time I've seen the bone since '96 and that was probably the best show. There was a huge crowd and everyone seemed to be really into it, skankin' and singing the songs all night long. Here's the set list that we grabbed after the show:

Unyielding Suffering Everyday Karma If I... Subliminal Bonin' Shakey Ground Wish I Had A Date Ma & Pa Just Allow Monkey Dick Freddie's Dead A&A Cholly Pants Question Party

encore: Weed Plant (jazzy version) Sunless Saturday

Highlights of the show were when Angelo flew into the crowd during Ma & Pa causing the crowd to go crazy. Also, the 20+ girls dancing on the stage during Pants and then Angelo introducing each one afterwards. After the show, we found Angelo and he took us backstage to hang out. The cool thing about the band is they are all so approachable and personable. The only one that we didn't talk to was Walt as he was nowhere to be found before or after the show. The only downer was their encore was short compared to normal, and with the crowd still fired up, it was surprising that they didn't come out again and play another song or two. Either way, it was still an awesome show.

Luckily, I found Leland after the show just as everybody was leaving the place. Good job with all the flyers Adam - I handed out all the ones that you gave to me. Good to see you again Dave. Too bad you couldn't make it up from Seattle Bryan as there were tonnes of opportunities to get up on stage and dive.

Alright, somehow I need to recover from last night quickly and focus on my midterms for next week.

cheers, Mike.

I think I'm still in a bit of shock. Last night I experienced something that I couldn't have even imagined. It was my first bone encounter, and hopefully one of many more to come. Michale and Adam have seemed to have given a pretty detailed account of the show. I was impressed to say the least. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you Adam, I kept looking for somebody handing out flyers. Luck...

With hardrocking jams, heavy funk and George Clinton?style presentation, Fishbone proved once again that they've still got it.

Although they've been around nearly 15 years now, the crazy funk/punk/ska/metal collective from L.A. showed no signs of slowing down at their Feb. 16 Commodore show. Fishbone thrilled a near-capacity crowd with a two hour-plus set that covered music ...

There were a few others but tha...
