Fishbone recently performed a concert at The Backroom in Austin Texas to a sold-out crowd of 2500 screaming fans. The first track to grace to ears of the hungry attendants was "Sunless", a ska track off the new release. Though the performance was riveting, the newness of the song made for a hesitant crowd response, and just when they ...

Okay, folks. I just got back from the best Fishbone show I have ever been to in my life!!!!! The Austin show kicked so much ass that I am still recovering. They did a trillion songs (I will list them if anyone is interested later), and they completely wore us out! How the hell do they keep up all that energy? The crowd was totally into it; and amazingly, a lot of people knew the words to their songs. I also thought it was cool that a few people knew the lyrics from the Nuttwerk record. There was so much energy in the room, and Fishbone brought the house down! It was so worth the 2 1/2 hour drive from Houston, and the waste of money at the wack ass Days Inn to see them. After the show, the fellas were friendly, as they always are. They spend a lot of time with their fans taking pictures and signing things. Spacey T. even came out to talk this time!! Before they played "Shakey Ground," Spacey gave a shout-out to Eddie Hazel because he said that Eddie (in so many words) doesn't get enough props for all the work he's done.

...as always...FISHBONE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! who else from the austin show thought it kicked ass?

I thought I may have found him, but it was a fishbone virgin from St. Louis who was there for Saturday's football game and freaked out when he and his frien...

To anyone who cares, John actually was suffering from a mild heat stroke. He had a long sleeve shirt on and it was hot as hell in that place! We gave him some water and he sat the rest of the time out. But John did do a slammin job of a sit in for him.
