Review from the Nuttwork's archive

So, was I the only list member that attended this show. I drove all the way from Phoenix, AZ to California to see FISHBONE...they did a very short set:

Probably not in the correct order -

Party at ground zero (first song) housework cholly (Angelo jumped into the crowd and bounced around yelling "Fat Chics") the suffering Where'd you get those ...

Review from the Nuttwork's archive

You weren't the onlye one there. I was there with wife & friends (only a 25 minute drive for us). The 'bone were really on, though from my spot on the dance floor the balance was a problem: too much guitar. Of course, most of the shows I've seen lately had the guitar too faint, so it was good to really hear Spacey, but his rhythm licks overpowered the vocals on a number of tunes.

The set seemed pretty generous to me (1 hour) given that they weren't headlining.

Spacey and Norwood really rocked out on Servitude. ... and Angelo was in rare form. I think that some of the Pfunk loyalists seated near the front weren't quite ready for Angelo to be in their faces during Cholly -- it was great!

That was my first taste of Pfunk live, and it was fun.
