Wassup y'all, Just returned from a whirlwind kind of an evening.Last night was the last show on this tour for our boys and they made it one to remember. First things first though, big respect to Anthony Keidis who was on Musique Plus (french MTV) and had some kind things to say about Angelo, the band and being able to tour with them again.
The show started out with a ripping rendition of Sunless Saturday and set the tone for the whole set. Heres the set list: 1.Sunless Saturday 2.Aids and Armagedden 3.The Suffering 4.Shakey Ground 5.Party at Grond Zero. During Shakey Ground the boys were joined onstage with Chad Smith and they really, really tore this jam up!
STP tok the stage and played their hour long set and were joined by Angelo as he played sax during Plush.Next up of course was the RHCP and they did there usual professional and well recieved act.During the encore they performed (appropriatly enough) Me and My Friends and out came Norwood,John Steward, and Angelo marching to the beat with nothing on except socks and they wern't on there feet.Angelo played the most amazing solo with his theremin during the song and Norwood and John just did their dancing/marching thing on the stage. After the song when everyone left the stage ,Angelo returned to the empty stage and promtly removed his sock and fired it into the audience before running away.It was a pretty funny moment.
All in all a pretty awesome night, one Montreal will have trouble forgetting.Fishbone has one more Canadian date which is tonight,in Montreal at the Spectrum.Damn,an actual Fishbone show.I wish i could have stayed the extra day but dem da breaks. Easy....Miles

Later that year, I got into a band called Fishbone; and I have ended up owning all of their CDs. Flash ahead three years and I heard the song "Sex Type Thing," by a new band called Stone Temple Pilots; and I immediately ...
