Wow! I didn't think I'd be the first to report on Fishbone's show in Central Park, but here goes. It's kind of silly at this point to compare this show to one of Fishbone's shows from 10 years ago, but I will say this: this was probably one of the best shows I've been to in a few years. All the elements were there, big crowd, huge pit, gorgeous weather, the mixing scents of herb and...
Yeah man, that wa me with the sticker on my shoulder! I wish we could have met. Good lookin' on Noonan's part as he spotted me and said hello. Excellent show despite the obvious obstacles. It was cool to see the crowd diggin' the older tracks, but the crowd didn't seem too familiar with the newer tracks. It's a shame because the newer tracks are great songs to sing-a-long to at shows. What a show in Central Park! That was fun!!! It wasn't the usual marathon show they do, but it had all the elements of a great great show. I think the show was much better then the Limelight show. The large crowd was nice to see. And it seemed like all the older soldiers made it a point to attend and participate. I think they hit thier stride after about the 4th song. Aids and Arm. and...
I made it up there from Virginia at 3:30 so was very happy that the band was delayed. The Everyday Sunshine was so tight! I think it was their best song yesterday. It was a good feeling to see fishbone in front of so many other people. Diry walt had more enery than I'd ever seen him with. After the show we saw Joey Barron play with a guitar player at Tonic. Man Joey has got to be the grea...
I had a slammin good time even though my friend didn't really seem interested. I was lookin for the Uno players in the front, but I didn't see anyone. I was on the left side by the soundstage in the front. I was the black chic with the curly hair and a black tee with jeans. I did get on line for the signing. F-bone signed my CD insert and my homemade tee. I took several shots during and ...
