Hi soldiers,

Here's a little report of the Paris show from friday.

The concert was held in Elysees-Montmartre, a beautiful old club, mid-sized, situated not far from Pigalle.

I arrived just before the show and Angelo was doing the DJ, throwing on some cool cuts. There were no opener, so Fishbone began at 8pm with "When problems arise", Angelo was wearing a black suite with his Mickey ears.

There may have been one or two more tunes From "Truth & Soul" And "In Your Face" that I don't remember. Angelo finished the show his notebook in hands, with a poem about problems between "black americans" and "black africans".

The show was very hot, the bones were tight and in great shape, and the public was very very enthusiast. Between each song, a lot of people (including me) were yelling "Fishbone, Fishbone, ...", the boys were very pleased , and Angelo improvised a little song "we love you too" for that. Angelo did 6 or 7 bodycrawl, and the pool was open from beginning to the end of the show as soldiers constantly stagedived. One brother and 6 or 7 sisters went on stage for "Were did you get those pants", one was really horny and she throw her t-shirt away and danced in bra.

A really cool show, a lot of energy, cool versions of old songs, all the boys were great, but Spacey T impressed me a lot with his lyricallity in his improvisations at the beginning and the end of the songs. The current line-up is really good and seem to have a lot of fun together.

For me highlights were "Ma and Pa" (Angelo stagediving, from the top of the amplifiers), a cool jazzy version of "Karma Tsunami", Housework (one of my favourite tune), "Behaviour Control Technician" (amazing live version, ways better than album's one), "Everyday Sunshine" (Norwood said that it was the 1st time since 94' they played it). Versions of "Freddie's dead" and "Unyelding conditionning" were really cool too.
