i had the most awesome time last nite. sorry i didnt see you guys i looked a couple of times at the coat check but...
the show was amazing. long as hell and worth every minute of having to sit through the band i saw. i think called enemy squad they were funky, but i didnt really get into them.
i had a good view and believe me it's not easy being short...
Hey anyone going to comment about the show last night? I thought it was incredable but then again I have nothing to compare it to. The only things I thought were bad was the view of the stage (it's not easy being short!)although it got better then the mosh pit pushed me and my girl friend back like 8 rows (being my second concert I never moshed before but it was fun. The only other low points...
ok - i can't believe no one has stressed how incredibly amazing the show was. i don't even know the words to describe the extent to which i enjoyed it. i drove down from providence for the show and it was worth every second. i thought the set list was impressive, they didn't concentrate too much on one particular album or anything. Freddie's Dead was great, as was Unyielding Conditioning, and everything else they played for that matter. and i also love the fact that they played for so long. last time i saw them was when they opened for maceo parker and their set was definitely limited. does anyone know if there are really gonna be cd's available from that night? - that would be very cool cause i got to scream -donuts, cigarettes, coffee- into the mic with angelo and i would love to be able to hear that. and yes, i did notice him holding his ear at one point checking the mic, but i don't think he was overly bothered by it. was anyone else downstairs with the band after the show? i was down there for a little while and was wondering if anyone there was from the list.
Fishbone may have a more subdued lineup these days, but the show was a good reminder of how unique and powerful and simply friggin' awesome this band has always been. Angelo has not lost a step and remains one of the best frontmen I've ever seen. Norwood was also having a great time and I loved that hat!
The new members really live up to the legacy of the band. Alcoholic...
