Dec 03 1998 @ The Vault Baltimore, MD

This club was a lot smaller than last night and the mixer was only like 12 channels, so I was thinkin' about just dancin instead of tapin. I decided to just put the thing by the T-shirts since Gadston didn't care. I didn't expect mucsh, cause you usually gotta be closer up to get a strong signal. And I usually have to fool with it a lot too make sure I have a good level and change discs at the right time.(it holds 74 min.) Somehow it got a freakishly hot signal without distorting and this tape beats every faith no more, every bungle, and evry mazzy star tape I've ever made. It beats every beatles tape and evry beat manifesto tape. It beats hard and has beats by deion in alcholic that weren't never ever there before. New keyboards in ugly, too. This was a better concert than I'll ever see again. I know I said that last night, but we got stuff we didn't get from the 9:30 club such as HOUSEWORK, problems, metermaids, and a new new song in the form of a jam that had great trombone and sax solo's. The intro this time was ME! and 3 interesting and beautiful women. Angelo had us model the T-shirts, he took some pictures of us too, so maybe we'll be on unutted soon. Gadston was takin in some info about the minidisc format. He decided he'll probably look into buying one.I like that. I like that shit, knowing that people are looking for progressive formats. and right as I was telling him how I sold all my CD's cause MD's don't scratch. Angelo started yelling "what the FUCK!" It was his CD skippin' on the PA. During Alcoholic the shit hit the fan, there was an incident. It started out with angelo swiming over to the bar and ordering a shot of Tequilla just as the punk section started. Just after that, security kicked a man out for somethin. When Moore got back to the stage, he dropped the mic and took off through the side door.ooohhh it was sure a rough situation. The band got to the end of the song without him as 3 dudes held him back trying to push him back into the club as he grabbed for the ejected person, just out of reach. He came up the stairs sadder than I've ever seen a person. My respect for him reached new hieghts. He finally came to the mic, and talked to us for 6 minutes, still very damn sad and told us the story of him getting arrested in florida for a simmilar "testicality". Anyway a lot of the people in the audience tonight seemed to be there because fishbone did a song with black street. Y'know and I suspect they were into r&d/rap. Check it out, it was so cool how those people were reacting. They were kind checkin out what us fans in the pit were doin' and not smikin at us or nothin. At first they were lookin' like "I didn't know black people did this." Later, it got to the point that they were slamin' in a little. See, I like that shit too. I like that shit a lot. NOW, I get to go get a shit job 'till january/school!! -rob summers

I know it was four days ago now, but I thought I would write my impression of the Baltimore show at The Vault. It was incredible (as usual)! It always seems that the most recent Fishbone show is always my favorite, but this one was exceptionally tight. They had more of a mix of old and new (Reality and after) songs. My friend Kevin and I got to speak to Spacey T before their set and he warned...
