With the exception of the ill-fated Warped Tour performance at CS Dominguez Hills last summer and the lackluster De La/FB show on campus last year, I consistently think the most recent Fishbone concert I've attended has been exceptional. Ryan did a great review and I'll just be quick and concur. The bone was red hot and my faith was renewed after the lackluster CU gig in 96. Now I'm not one to partake of mental enhancers too much, but on this particular night I ate a ton of shrooms, the only time in my life I've ever done that. Well, I was on cloud 9 fo sho. But this gig was awesome regardless! Almost to the standard of the Paladium gig I saw in Hollywood 91 (w/o enhancers). Of the 7 bone shows I've seen this is easily #2. Great setlist, performance, crowd, location... WOW! Guess you had to be there. Oh yeah, and like Ryan, I got to meet Angelo and speak with him a bit. Great guy! I miss Colorado...
