Hi fellow Fishboners....

I thought I'd send a review of the 'Bones recent concert in Sydney Oz....Great to see them again after so long. You guys in the States are so lucky, we haven't seen them since the 'Reality...' tour!!!

I must say tho that it was worth the wait! Fishbone were supported by the Porkers and some other band I didn't see. Angelo made an impromptu appearance playing saz for the Porkers...an experience he and everyone really enjoyed! The Bone kicked off with 'So Many Millions' and flew into a furious set mainly from 'Reality..' and 'Chim Chim' Dirty Walt's famous dildo mike died after a couple of songs.

Fish has been pumpin' some serious weights....he came on drummed his ass off then disappeared off stage without a word after the show. Norwood had this horned jester-type hat on, and I think it was a fretless bass he was playing...5 string. He is a great player...hell the whole band are so tight!! Angelo had this gadget like some sort of feedback unit, and when he waved his hand near it this thing sounded like a pulsating siren. If you listen to the title track 'Chim Chim' you can hear something like it. Sounded pretty neat!!

Unfortunately you weren't allowed to take cameras in, as I was going to scan some pictures off for my web page.
