I am not sure if this show was in April or closer to the Palo Alto show in March? Fishbone played at this venue a few times. I do not have a set list but am sure it included most of the ep and the newer material from In Your Face. Around this time, Fishbone usually opened with Mr. Zero and ended with Fishbone Is Red Hot. One Step Beyond was a small night club in an industrial part of the city of Santa Clara. For a short period from the early eighties until the the late eighties it was the place to hear quality music, an alternative to the mainstream crap.
